New 9 Trailer

There's a new trailer out for 9, the ragdoll-with-soul movie by Shane Acker. It looked awesome before, it still looks awesome.

This time around we get a little back-story and of course, it's there are robots involved with killing humans. My favorite kind of movie! It looks like a scientist created nine dolls and gave them life just at the end of humanity's existence. Also, machines decided they hated man and destroyed them. But...one of the dolls mentions in the trailer that they are hunting them because they are lost in the past and are searching for answers; that could be clever editing to make it sound like the machines are the lost ones and they really aren't, but I like that. It would almost seem like the one machine hunting them is gathering them up to find out about what makes them alive? I don't know, either that or 9 holds the key to humanity and the machines want it...I am really intrigued by this.

Let's hope it isn't rated G or PG, or we'll have less of a thinker story and more of a kid's-running-around-theatre movie. I don't want that.
